Get Ready for Valentine's Day!

Okay, so today is not Valentine's Day. But like the retailers, I believe in preparing early. It's never too early to start showing your love and appreciation for those in your life that mean the most to you. Whether it's your spouse, your partner, your child, a parent or friend, this is the time of year that we should show our love for them.

By this, I don't mean expensive gifts. Or gifts that cost anything at all. Showing your love for someone can be as simple as sending a text that says you're thinking of them. Or drawing a heart in lipstick on the bathroom mirror. Or slipping a note in their lunchbox that lists the reasons you love them.

This is the time of year that we should be celebrating love in all its forms. Whether it's new love or fifty years married love. Or friendship forged in five weeks or five years. For your mother or your son.

Let's celebrate love not just tomorrow, but every day this year. Who's with me?

  1. I'm with you, Syndi!! No one puts LOVE in a corner (or on just one day) lol. Thanks for the great reminder to share our love every day and to that end... Here's a HUG for all of my fabulous fellow Heartwarming authors! You are the best :)

    1. Yes, Roz, I agree. We need to be generous with our love. It doesn't cost us a thing to be kind to one another and simply be there. Happy Valentine's Day.

  3. Syndi - I'm on board! Let's fill the atmosphere with so much love that our weather satellites have to issue a LOVE ALERT! We should be able to see it from space - a big, swirling red cloud that that covers the planet! I promise to do my part.

    1. Woo hoo! The world better watch out for a big love storm coming at them from all of us Harlequin Heartwarming authors and readers! (By the way, is that anything like "It's Raining Men"? LOL).

  4. Syndi, I meant to say how much I loved your sparkling red heart when I opened the blog this morning. It spurred me to go buy myself a pot of red tulips. My eldest daughter told me since I love flowers that I should buy myself a bouquet for my table every so often, that it will pick my spirits up. And she's right. Happy Valentine's Day tomorrow to everyone.
