Happy New Year!

Hi Everyone!

Happy New Year!!! I wasn't sure if it was my day to post, so if it isn't, please forgive me lol. The holidays have me forgetting which day of the week it is:)

Happy release day to the HH authors with books out today! Rula and Amy-I cannot wait to read The Promise of Rain and The Weather Girl...and I am thrilled to see another Christmas release-I'll gladly hold onto the holiday spirit a little longer.

2013 for me was a blur! But what a ride! In February two of my dreams came true-I married the most wonderful, amazing man I have ever known who has been the best support system I could have ever hoped for and who is an amazing father to my little boy. Then two weeks later, I got the call! Writing for Harlequin was always a dream of mine-as some of you read on my SOLD! BlogSpot last month, but honestly, I had been a little nervous as steamy, sex scenes are not my forte lol:) So when they introduced this line, I was jumping for joy-I cut that awful, awkward sex scene from The Trouble With Mistletoe and my agent was excited to send it to Heartwarming:)

Then of course came the work-but what a job it is:) With a six-book series releasing between now and the end  of 2015, I decided to quit a full time day job in August (see above-VERY supportive husband) and focused on my Heartwarming projects and several new projects.

In November, The Trouble With Mistletoe released and I couldn't be happier by reader response to the first book in that series and I am anxiously awaiting the release of book two-What A Girl Wants in Feb.

This past year for me was life-changing and best of all, I had the opportunity to meet and fall in love with all of my fellow Heartwarming sisters on this blog. Through your posts and stories, I feel like I know all of you and your writing talent and the books I have read so far are amazing.

I know that 2014 has many more surprises waiting for all of us and I wish you all a safe, happy, and successful new year! I look forward to our continued friendship and support:)

  1. Hi Jen! 2014 is your year! With a six book series and more planned on another series, your husband made a wise decision in agreeing with your plan to leave your job and embrace your real career as a writer :) I loved the Trouble with Mistletoe and can't wait for the next in your series! Happy New Year ((HUGS))
