If you stuff the bird and put it right in the oven, it's fine. My stuffing is usually warm because the broth is warm, but I can stuff the bird with my hands, so it's not hot. Then the bird goes directly into the oven.Shailstockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02750902019306015861noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-35674664038358837562014-11-24T12:03:53.684-08:002014-11-24T12:03:53.684-08:00Isn't it wonderful when we can look back on th...Isn't it wonderful when we can look back on these moments in life and laugh. I'm sitting vigil on whether to take the turkey out of the freezer. My family is in Buffalo and they were coming here for the weekend. But with 7-feet of snow and possible flooding, we're on hold. I'd been redoing the ceiling and an electrician had come in to put in a bulb for me to use until the project was done. (It hung from wires on one of their little black cap things.) Climbed up on a ladder to change the bulb and it was in so hard I couldn't turn it. So I cooked the Muriel Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12065629068634892645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-61805598744069340812014-11-24T06:59:27.816-08:002014-11-24T06:59:27.816-08:00I have a few disasters. Don't know if it's because we got fresh turkey from a farmer who raised them, or if it's because she baked her stuffing in the bird. Who decided it wasn't as healthy to stuff the bird. I recall reading all kinds of articles about it rozdennyfoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06506701706951201107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-68969409980489258382014-11-24T06:50:13.264-08:002014-11-24T06:50:13.264-08:00Glad you enjoyed my stories, Liz.Glad you enjoyed my stories, Liz.Patricia Bradleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03382033674042021556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-43648970110671172562014-11-24T06:48:28.369-08:002014-11-24T06:48:28.369-08:00Melinda, I'm sure it was at least an hour. I got so tired of worrying about the bird and then having to salvage all the meat (seems like it took me an hour).
