I Love Simon the Cat

Pamela Tracy here, and like most writers, there are times when I am in front of the computer for hours.  I stare at it, lean toward it, and often I lean back and stare at the ceiling (I have an ugly ceiling).  Sometimes I look at my desk and consider cleaning it (scary thought, that).

I've stopped playing card games because they take too long.  At least when I'm leaning and staring, I am thinking about the chapter I'm writing.

Lately, my favorite diversion are online cartons called Simon the Cat.

Why?

Well, I do have a cat.

This is Tyre the seven-toed cat I rescued thanks to PetsMart. Yes, his front toes are huge.

So, for you're viewing pleasure, please enjoy this short video.  If you're not chuckling at the end, I'll be surprised.

Pamela's next Heartwarming Small-Town Secrets has a cat in it... are you surprised?
You shouldn't be.

  1. Oh, that's funny! I kept waiting for the coffee to go all over the keyboard. :-)

  2. LOL, Pam, that was so cute and true! I was waiting for the coffee to spill on the keyboard too...one of my greatest fears lol. I have 3 cats and, last night, I walked away from my computer with my email open, then ran back to close it. Who knows what those paws could have typed up and sent by accident! And man those are some massive toes on Tyre!

  3. I can see where Simon’s cat could be very addictive. One click and I was on YouTube with at least a dozen more waiting to be viewed. Good post and so typical of a cat wanting to be involved in anything you’re doing.

    1. I allow myself one a day because I don't want them to end. There's one that is the story of the man Simon. I want to meet him. I think he's single and would be perfect for Victoria.

  7. Pam, that's hysterical! Stormy, one of two Tabbies, always sits with me for a while when I go to work. He tells me, "You type and I'll space for you!" It never works very well, but he's so happy - and so am I. Anxious for the April book!

  8. Pamela, hilarious. I was dying laughing. We lost our precious Salty cat two years ago (I'm almost ready for another). But she did all of this and liked to lay on my keyboard. I love how he added the sound a cat makes when it jumps, too... So funny.

  9. Hilarious, Pam. I don't own a cat but my dog hates it when I ignore her when I'm trying to write. She will lay at my feet and wait me out, though. None of that cord pulling in my house!
