March Is Here by Tara Randel

I always look forward to the month of March. In Florida, the temperatures are a nice steady seventies, not like our sweltering summers. I keep the windows open, catching the cool breezes and the scent of flowers in the air. Everything starts to bloom, especially my azaleas. I only wish the beautiful pink and while flowers lasted longer than a few weeks.

It’s the time of year folks are out bike riding or visiting the beach. Tourists are here, busy sightseeing in our quaint small towns or at the large attractions. I always get reinvigorated this time of year, but this March is extra special.

I’m so excited for the release of my new Heartwarming, The Wedding March, the fourth book in The Business of Weddings series. This book focuses on characters in the music industry, who also happen to play at wedding receptions. I had a blast doing research with some very talented songwriters. Creative people have such a special bond, whether it’s writing books or songs. The support is tremendous and proves once again how wonderful the creative community is. Since this is a romance, there is also the journey to love, which never gets old. I hope you enjoy Cassie and Luke’s story.

The help only he can offer…

Cypress Pointe, Florida, is a long way from LA, where pop singer Cassie Branford needs a hit to prove she's not a two-album wonder. But her case of writer's block could be over when the struggling songwriter meets Luke Hastings at a family wedding.

The legendary musician walked away from success at the height of his career. Yet Luke    is already inspiring Cassie with his dedication to building a permanent community  outreach center for troubled teens. Volunteering to help bring music into these kids' lives  is also bringing her and Luke closer. Maybe they're not as different as he thinks…

And along with new releases this month is the Love is Blooming contest. It’s not too late to enter to win a fantastic gardening-themed prize pack and signed books.

  3. Happy March release, Tara! Spring is fun in Arizona. We have to enjoy our time outdoors before it gets too hot to be outside, lol. But you won't hear me complaining. I'll take heat over blizzards any day!

  4. Beautiful flowers. We took spring break in Orlando with the kids years ago, and loved it. Actually we had two days of cool rain, but it still felt quite warm to us and made the parks less crowded.

  6. Love the sound of your book, Tara, And am envious of your 70 degree weather. Oregon just doesn't want to warm up. Or dry up! We get beautiful azaleas, too, though a couple of weeks later, and their large cousin, rhododendrons! they're so gorgeous. My forsythia is trying hard to bloom but keeps getting rained on! Maybe I'll have to hang from the porch with an umbrella!

  7. Actually, we've been in the 80's, if you can believe it. I have the a/c on! Once we start getting rain, more of our tropic plants will perk up. No matter where we live, each part of the country is so beautiful!

  8. I'm sorry to be so late to the party, but I just got home. I'm thrilled that I get to share a release month with you. The Wedding March sounds wonderful, and I look forward to reading it. I wish you much success with it.

As for the weather...I envy you! We set a record yesterday for the warmest March 1st on record, but the temperatures plunged to -14 C with the wind chill by this morning. We even had a sprinkling of snow. Your azaleas really make me long for spring!
