I miss the days when my family gathered at my grandparents', but I love spending time with my family and the friends. We usually head up the street to a friends' house, and then we make our own mini-Thanksgiving, because, like Roz, we love the leftovers! ;-)Anna Adamshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16712409691177932667noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-14520661049141809622014-11-06T16:33:50.539-08:002014-11-06T16:33:50.539-08:00Spending time with family!

They turn to glue, LOL. Did I mention I was cooking for 10? Yikes. These days we spend Thanksgiving decorating for Xmas, but the house always smells yummy. I'm not a turkey fan so I usually eat the other fixings. Not sure what I'm eating this year as I'm on a rigid diet. It doesn't matter though because I'll get to see my older brother this year, I haven't seen him for almost a year so it will be great to catch up.Linda Hendersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06496464041656744569noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-88748522905181507522014-11-06T07:39:47.990-08:002014-11-06T07:39:47.990-08:00I remember Thanksgiving Day spent with lots of fam...I remember Thanksgiving Day spent with lots of family, the men talking sports and politics while the women cooked. It all smelled and felt wonderful. Today our kids are a distance away, so Ron and I usually go out somewhere with friends, but he loves turkey, so, like Liz, I end up cooking one somewhere around the holiday. I don't like to travel on those busy times of the year and my kids and grands have their own traditions. Thanksgiving and Christmas of late comes down to my sister and me. She lives about a mile away, but doesn't like to cook. I generally decorate still and do a mini version of turkey and all the trimmings. Still like leftovers.<br rozdennyfoxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06506701706951201107noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-43683579409538296782014-11-06T06:36:11.670-08:002014-11-06T06:36:11.670-08:00Nice decor and I can relate to changing Thanksgivi...Nice decor and I can relate to changing Thanksgiving up because of changes in the family. We used to always go to hubby's parents and it would be so much fun. The cousins would all go on a hike while the mom's fixed the dinner. They cooked, but we cleaned up so that worked out for everyone. smile But all are gone now. Our one cousin travels to spend time with us and we still follow the Sandra Leesmithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13911169281960710923noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-32673032306640922722014-11-06T06:28:18.067-08:002014-11-06T06:28:18.067-08:00Thanks. We've had lobster a few times, eaten at a buffet once (didn't like that), and this year we're renting a house and 11 of the 15 of us will spend the time together.

I love your Liz Flahertyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06794565644883272260noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2442063056672240555.post-33194390581962432692014-11-06T03:32:12.518-08:002014-11-06T03:32:12.518-08:00Your Thanksgiving decorations are lovely, Tara.
