Release month is finally here, and we're celebrating now that SWEET MOUNTAIN RANCHER and HARPER'S WISH are available to readers!

Welcome to the red carpet edition of our "We Talk to Ourselves...a Lot!" blog series as we unveil the cast and characters of our two latest releases!

First up, Loree would like to introduce you to the characters (and her wish cast) for SWEET MOUNTAIN RANCHER, the second book in her Those Marshall Boys trilogy:

Here's the all-star lineup for Loree's dream cast for the story!

Next up, we're pleased to welcome you to Findlay Roads, Maryland, a small town in the Chesapeake Bay region. HARPER'S WISH is the first in a four-book series centering around Findlay Roads and its inhabitants:

Let's give a round of applause for Cerella's wish-list cast!

Now that you've met the cast of both novels, how about a chance to win the books, along with an Amazon gift card?

We had so much fun over the last two months, offering both the Endless Summer and Beach Reads giveaway that we decided to offer THREE prizes this month to celebrate our releases!

She splits her time between her home in Baltimore and a cabin in the Alleghenies (where she loves to show off her “Identify the Critter Tracks” skills). The release of Once a Marine (#1 in the “Those Marshall Boys” series for Harlequin's new Heartwarming line) brings Loree’s number of books in print to 104! About Cerella:

CERELLA SECHRIST lives in York, Pennsylvania with two precocious pugs, Darcy and Charlotte, named after Jane Austen literary characters. Inspired by her childhood love of stories, she was ten years old when she decided she wanted to become an author. These days, Cerella divides her time between working in the office of her family’s construction business and as a barista to support her reading habit and coffee addiction. She’s been known to post too many pug photos on both Instagram and Pinterest. You can see for yourself by finding her online at www.cerellasechrist.com. 3. Okay, this is one MAGNIFICENT giveaway opportunity. I'm wishing I'll have a good shot at winning this one!!
I love how you both put these posts together. They are so much fun, and they look great. Really nice job at choosing cast members for your characters. That Cam Gigandet looks strikingly similar to Loree's cover guy. You both did such a good job at the character choices. I have to think a little more about who I picture from Hollywood to represent these characters. Thanks for a great start to my Friday. ( :

    2. Fingers crossed for you, Laurie xo

    3. Laurie, I have so much fun "casting" my books. I actually spend wayyyy too much time thinking about who should play which part. Connor went through about four or five actor choices before I settled on Kevin Ryan. lol I'd be such a picking casting agent in Hollywood. ;)

  8. What am I wishing for this month??? I'm wishing for an entire weekend alone so I can wrap up edits on my last wip and get it submitted. And I wish to win this giveaway so I can answer that elusive question...am I more like Harper or Eden. :)

    1. Then we'll join you in that wish, LeAnne! After all, if happy endings are possible, why can't your wish come true! As for whether you're more like Harper or Eden, I'm guessing there's a little of both heroines in your head...and your heart! (See there...when I'm right, I'm right, right! LOL) Thanks so much for stopping by, and here's hoping you have a great weekend!

    2. I'm with you, LeAnne - I'd love to have an entire solitary weekend to make some progress on the next Findlay Roads story! But we writers take what we can get, I guess. :) lol, I love that you're still puzzling which character fits your personality better!!

    1. Oh, we'd LOVE it if you could enter and win, Carol! And y'know, I can't decide which I'd like better: A book-to-movie deal, or telling Cam that Nate's cowboy accent is just a wee bit more twangy... Hehehe. Have a great weekend, and thanks for popping in!

    2. Carol, we really do need movie versions of our Heartwarming books. ;)

    1. Oh, me, TOO, Karen! I know you love our readers as much as we do - it would be so nice if we could just gift every single one of them with gift baskets and swag! And you're right - this would be such a fun Red Carpet to walk down. If only they'd start making our Heartwarming novels into films... hmmm... :D

      Delete
    2. Oh, we're with you there, Karen...wishing everyone could win! One of the reasons Cerella and I host so many giveaways is to introduce new readers to the Heartwarming line, and keep already-love-em readers updated on who's writing what. Another reason is to give more people a chance to win. Maybe one of these days, we'll host a FOR AUTHORS ONLY giveaway! :-)

    1. Thanks, Sophia! I'm so picky with my casting that I HAD to choose actual IRISH actors to play Connor and Rory. I was fortunate that not only are Kevin Ryan and Elaine Cassidy from Ireland, but they look like they could be brother and sister, too, IMO. :)

      Delete
    2. So happy you stopped by, Sophia! I'm with Cerella: I need a clear picture of the characters in my head--even the secondary (and thirdary) characters--when I'm writing. I love that Cam and Nate really DO look a lot alike. Trouble is, it made it a whole lot easier to nurse a little crush on him. LOL Did YOU picture the characters in our September releases the same way? If not...who did YOU see, riding horseback and the restaurant kitchen? :-)
