I love Halloween. I loved when my girls dressed up and we went trick-or-treating. And I loved when the trick-or-treaters came to our house. My girls are now teenagers and I declared that once you have your driver’s license and can drive to the store to buy your own candy, you probably shouldn’t be trick-or-treating, no matter how much you want free candy. We live in a community now with more retirees than young kids and the trick-or-treaters don’t quite make it down our street. I still have my house decorated. Witches, ghosts and colorful spiders hang in every room, waiting to greet every guest.
I just turned in Book 6 for my City by the Stories, I’m coming off the deadline stress and starting to really get excited for the coming holidays. In honor of Halloween, here’s my list of the top 5 Halloween decorations I believe every house should have. And if I had an unlimited budget, I would buy them all. Unfortunately, I’ll have to stick to one. Anyone have a favorite?
