NEWLY MINTED - BESTSELLER!

by Shirley Hailstock

Great News! And it couldn't have come at a better time. With the world changing before our eyes, and many routines being altered and not necessarily for the better, I received some wonderful news on Thursday.

The Romance Writers of America (RWA) eNotes (a weekly sheet) arrived, and I opened it to check on RWA's procedure regarding the Coronavirus. As I made my way down the newsletter, I noticed a link that is always in the newsletter.

          March 16 Romance Bestsellers

Congratulations to the RWA members who hit the New York Times, Publishers
Weekly, and/or USA Today best-seller lists this week! Visit the best-sellers page
to see where these books hit on the lists.
Among the names was MINE!

Sherryl Woods and Shirley Hailstock, Finally a Bride & His Love Match

The two full-length novels were in a combo package and it made the Publisher's Weekly Bestseller List for the second week in a row.

Could you see me dancing all the way to the Pacific coast? My steps were high and loud.

After that momentous news, I was so nervous it was hard to do anything other than celebrate.

And I did.

The book is a Harlequin title, but it doesn't follow the Heartwarming guidelines. Still, I couldn't keep this inside.

When times get rough, read a romance. We need something now to keep us sane and to let us know the power within all of us.

As always, keep reading. . .

    1. How right you are. I remember Christina Dodd saying once that we should celebrate even the smallest accomplishments, because there are so few rewards in this business. She was so right. This one is a biggie though.
