Hello friends! Spring has sprung and April is here.
While it will probably feel like a long month due to
everyone staying at home, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the outdoors, where possible. I’ve been
taking regular walks through my neighborhood since I can’t go the gym, and let
me say, I’ve been loving it. The temperatures are pleasant right now and the
sun has been shining most every day. I’ve talked my daughter into joining me,
so she puts a leash on her dog and off we go. I’ve cherished this time to be
with her, since normally she’s so busy. She works in a hospital and with
everything going on right now, she needs to de-stress, and I’m happy to make sure
she gets some much needed exercise. It’s a small thing, but we all can do our
part to help others during this anxious time.
I’ve compiled some pictures of spring in my neck of the
woods to share with you. I hope you enjoy this cheerful snapshot of the season.
To everyone out there, stay safe and continue to follow the
health guidelines. We are in this together, and we will all come out on the
other side together as well. Take time out of your day to focus on the positive,
lend a helping hand in any way you can, and if possible, get lost in a good
book. Wishing you the best!
~Tara

I don’t know where your ‘neck of the woods’ is Tara, but it sure looks beautiful! I’d love to,take a walk around your neighborhood. We have daffodils and crocuses starting here in Ontario. Thanks for the hit of spring!
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Janice. I live in Florida so we have plenty of blooming flowers right now. Take care!
DeleteI love all your flowers, Tara. Spring flowers always feel like a promise of hope! I used to have many rose bushes before I moved to Ohio and I miss seeing them in the early summer. They were always a delight. Congrats on your recent release!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Elizabeth. My rose bush is more like a rose stick, but it still blooms!
DeleteBeautiful flowers. You're right--we are all in it together. Thank your daughter for all she's doing.
ReplyDeleteI will certainly tell her. Thanks, Liz.
DeleteTara, your flower pictures provided such a happy lift for the day! I'm enjoying the outdoors too while the weather in AZ is mild enough. And hoping that the hotter temperatures soon will kill off the virus. It's a nice theory anyway. Enjoy your time with your daughter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Leigh. Wouldn't it be great if the high temperatures killed this virus? Well, our temps here are going way up next week. We'll see! In the meantime, enjoy the outdoors.
DeleteThanks--so colorful where you are. We're still a long ways behind that! Well, maybe not too long. Your post is bright and cheery--thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Virginia. We need bright and cheery right now.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! It's still all snow here in Anchorage, so I'm glad to be able to vicariously visit your neck of the woods.
