Happy Fall Y'All! by Tara Randel

As I write this blog, it’s 74 degrees outside. 74! While that might not seen chilly to you, it is here in Florida where we’ve recently had 90 degree days. I have my windows open and I’m enjoying every minute of the cooler temperatures because tomorrow it could be hot again.

To say I’m in an autumn mood—if  there is such a thing—is an understatement. So to celebrate the season, I’ve picked out a few of my favorite fall pictures, along with a few new ones.

 Scenes from the mountains.

I just handed in the first manuscript for a new Heartwarming series set in the mountains of north Georgia. The book won't be out until next year, but I've had so much fun creating characters who live in the small town of Golden. As you look at these pictures, I'm sure you can see my inspiration! And why I wish I could make the trek up there this year. Maybe in 2021...

I'm sure you all have favorite decorations you pull out every year or pictures of that memorable vacation you took when the leaves were changing color. I think we can all agree that this is a beautiful time of year. As we draw closer to the holidays, I hope you treasure time spent with family and friends.

  1. Beautiful photos, Tara! From mountains in Georgia? If so I can see where the inspiration comes from and a town called "Golden" sounds like a nice place to live. Congrats on this new series and yes, I too am treasuring time with family these days. :)

  2. Love those photos! On the first day of autumn, I hung a fall wreath on the door and scattered some fake autumn leaves across the mantel. Autumn colors are the best! Can't wait for the new books!
