Cover Reveal-The Trouble With Mistletoe

Here it is! The cover for my November holiday release-The Trouble with Mistletoe. I couldn't be happier with it. When I started writing it-I had quite vivid ideas about how my characters looked. I went online and I searched for famous, beautiful people that captured what I saw in my mind. Those pics are posted on my Brookhollow series pegboard and underneath, I have no posted this cover image...And honestly, it could be their side profiles. Just the way Luke has his head rested against Victoria's with his eyes closed...perfect Luke! So, thank you art department for not making me wonder who these people are on the cover of my book:)

I'm on deadline this week for revisions, so I'm keeping this post short, but if anyone would like to read an excerpt, please check out my Brookhollow series blog at http://brookhollowseries.blogspot.ca. Leave a comment there or here to be entered to win a copy once it is released November 1st.

Also, here is my ad for the November issue of RWR. Designed by the talented Linda Horn!

  1. Jen! Congratulations! What a wonderful, wonderful cover! I swear - we have the most talented art department in the history of book covers. Isn't it satisfying when the world gets to see your characters as you do? Now I'm anxious for November 1st so we can discover what plans you've made for them. And Christmas is just 3 months from today!

  2. Thanks Muriel! I looked up some of your previous holiday releases and I plan to get them (if I can) to add to my holiday reading pile that keeps beckoning lol:)
Can't believe it's only 3 months-Christmas is very special to our family. We start watching Christmas movies on Thanksgiving weekend. Don't tell them I cheated and watched one two weeks ago lol:)

    1. I do the same thing! Countdown to Christmas starts Nov. 1, I think. Many of those movies I've seen over and over, but don't mind at all seeing them again. Hallmark channel is great.

    2. Oh, I totally agree! The Hallmark Channel movies are so great. That's my ultimate goal-to have a series of mine or a holiday title turned into a Hallmark original:) Pretty big dream, huh?

  3. Jen, love the cover. It's great when one hits your vision. Like Muriel I think all of our covers have been really nice. Did you guys have to point out how close Christmas is? I also have 5 grandkids and a daughter who have birthdays between Oct 1 and Christmas. And I am so, so behind.

    1. Lol, sorry Roz!! Just give everyone copies of your books-that's what I plan to do:) When I was finishing my degree, taking six courses the final semester and working THREE jobs (I was poor and desperate), everyone got gifts from the University bookstore that year. Not kidding lol:)
