Heartwarming authors and a special line of
books
Homespun Christmas is finally out, a
book David and I are very proud of and hope many of you will enjoy. At its
center is our philosophy that you never give up. If it's what you want, you go
for it. That's how dreams are achieved. It's how we got our first book published
and how we've lived our lives.
When we're working on a book, we give it everything we've got
and right now it's time for us to focus on the last two books of our Copper
Canyon series for Harlequin Intrigue. These books feature six foster brothers
who form an unbreakable bond thanks to the guidance of their foster father, a
Navajo Medicine man.
So, until we begin our next Heartwarming project next
spring, this will be our last blog. Before we disappear into
our writing cave, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone here for their
support and friendship. We'll miss all of you, but we'll be back next
year.
The Heartwarming authors are the best. Even though we all want
to have the number one book for the month, we still take time to help each other
- something that's all but unique in any competitive profession.
What makes it work, of course, is that we
each have our own stories to tell. Though all the books speak of the gentler
side of love, we all have individual ways of developing and telling our
stories.
Heartwarming fills its own niche, and I
believe it can't help but continue to do well.
David and I want to wish all of you a wonderful holiday
season, and may the new year make many of your dreams come true.
Enjoy writing. We'll see you next year!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Tara!
DeleteWhat a wonderful summary of a great line! You'll be back with us before you know it.
ReplyDeleteTrue enough, Mel. Time flies by these days. I can't believe it's almost time for the holidays!
DeleteAimee and David, You guys have fantastic holidays. Take time to be festive. I can't wait to read your Christmas book. It will be a while before I get my subscription, but I'm behind on reading. (sigh) Please pop onto the Heartwarming loop and let us know when your Intrigues are coming out. I love to read Intrigues, too. Roz
ReplyDeleteI love time off for reading. This week I'll be taking time off. I've gathered my crocheted afghan, my books, and bought a Keurig. I'm all set!
DeleteHi, Aimee and David! I wondered where you were. Will miss your input. Good wishes for brilliant ideas, gnarly plot twists and profound solutions. Also wish you a warm and happy holiday season. At Thanksgiving, remember how thankful we all are for each other. As Roz said - do check in once in a while.
ReplyDeleteWill be around Muriel. I always enjoy your posts!
DeleteGood luck with your series! Happy holidays:)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jen. You too!
ReplyDeleteI love Intrigues, too. I'm a suspense reader at heart
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you next year when you drop back in. Do keep us informed.
