My husband and I went to EPCOT early last month. I
was finished with my last project and since we only live two hours away,
we decided to play hooky for the day and travel around the world. The flower
and garden festival was in full bloom, making our visit even more beautiful.
The day was picture perfect and as we started our tour around the lagoon, I
discovered some very literary topiaries.
In England, I found Mary Poppins.
And the real Mary, signing autographs.
In France, I found Sleeping Beauty and her prince.
And best of all, Belle, who I like to think of as the special guardian of books.
A lovely day spent with hubby and some wonderful characters from literature.

Stunning cover, Tara!!!! Absolutely gorgeous! Congrats :). And it sounds like you had a great trip. I love Belle. Beauty and the Beast is my fave.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and Rula. The cover of MAGNOLIA BRIDE is truly beautiful. It makes me want to open it and start turning the pages!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your pictures from your trip.
I was at the flower festival too! If only we 'd coordinated when to meet! Oh well, we'll see each other soon at RWA' cover is beautiful !
ReplyDeleteI have to say, all the Heartwarming covers have been beautiful. We are so lucky!
ReplyDeleteThe wonderful thing going on in my life is the beautiful everyday-ness of it. Ron and I still having fun together, pets cozying around and happy to be here, sun at last on our front porch. And the book turned in on time! Life is good. Congratulations on your release, Tara, and the cover just makes you happy to look at it.
ReplyDeleteTara, what a lovely trip and the weather looked perfect. Your cover is fabulous. Looking forward to reading the book. Love weddings. Like Muriel I'm doing the every-day living and trying to stay cool. Our heat is oppressive and I'm doing my morning walk before 5 am now. So are all of the dog-walkers in my area. Last night I met two of my writer friends for dinner at Outback. We always have fun gabbing and catching up.
ReplyDeleteTara, how fun! What beautiful photos. Belle is my girl. I went to Epcot for the first time last summer and felt like a little kid (: I still dream about that creme brulee I had in France.... My wonderful thing is learning that my oldest sister will soon be moving to the same town as my other sister and I! All three of us together again--I couldn't even dream up anything better than that!
ReplyDeleteI had the creme brulee too! So yummy.
DeleteAnd Congratulations on your book--I really love the title, too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover! Congrats on the upcoming release Tara:)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cover! Congrats on the upcoming release Tara:)
ReplyDeleteI don't know when Don and I will get to escape. Seems our life is pulling us different directions. He's working Graveyard. This week was VBS at church. I saw Don from 8:00 - 8:25 in the morning. Then, again from 4:45 - 5:00. Today, Mike and I head for Cub Camp. Don will be a single man for a few days :) When we come back, I have a conference (not writing, teaching). But, hey, the following week Mike goes to camp alone. I see potential LOL
ReplyDeleteI do so love the cover
Someday your vacation will come!
DeleteThanks everyone. Thrilled with the new cover.
ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful cover! Orange Blossom Brides is my absolute favorite Heartwarming cover. You have been so lucky ;) I love the topiary pictures. Our Disney vacation was one of the best memories for our family. The best thing I have going on right now ... 4 days until summer break!! Can't wait!!
