Hellooooo...anyone here?

I am thinking that there's not many of you out there today. I imagine that you're all in the post-Christmas lull or pre-New Year's rev-up. Muddled in the head from turkey-induced tryptophan or from brandy-laced Christmas pudding or some relative's homemade wine, you have completely forgotten to tune in to the blog today. Or you might have looked around at your house full of children, grandkids, rarely-seen siblings, parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins and thought no, no, there's not a moment to waste on reading a blog.

Wise choice.

For those of you who have or maybe in the days to come are catching up on the blog, you might be thinking,"M. K. Stelmack...hmmmm....name sounds faintly familiar....what did she write again?"

Let me introduce, or re-introduce, myself. My last published story with Harlequin Heartwarming was more than a year ago in October 2018 with Coming Home to You. It concluded my Greene Family Trilogy which started with my first ever Harlequin Heartwarming,  A Roof over Their Head and then continued with Building a Family.

The story of Daphne and Mel (Coming Home to You) is special because it became the inspiration for a BrainPower Studio  movie filmed in August of this year. Here's a pic of me with the leads.

Not sure when the movie's coming out but I will keep you posted.

I am now writing a new trilogy about the Montgomery sisters. Three sisters have inherited a three-unit commercial property and must now bring their dream jobs to life. And, of course, love comes crashing into their worlds. Their stories still take place in Spirit Lake, a small town based on where I've lived here in Alberta, Canada.

No titles, covers or release dates to announce yet but I can tell you that the first draft of the first in the series is completed and I'm deep in revisions. Here's a tiny teaser about the series:
